Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and complete prayers and peace upon the best of Allah's creation, and upon his family and noble companions. As for what follows:
Al Ihsan University works to consolidate the Islamic identity in The Gambia in particular and in West Africa in general, by studying the authentic Islamic heritage, enabling students to absorb Sharia and linguistic sciences, and using knowledge to serve Gambian society. Official working hours of its administrations are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in line with government office hours in the country. It has three main academic councils: (the Board of Trustees) made up of academics and experts in education and commerce; (the University Administration Council) consisting of the University Director, vice presidents, deans, the University Secretary, the Director of Relations, the Finance Director, the legal adviser, and the Institute Director; and (the Academic Council) which — according to the regulations — consists of the University Director, vice presidents, faculty deans, heads of academic departments, and the Dean of Student Affairs.
Among the administrations working to achieve its objectives and to develop administrative work toward excellence is the Office of the University Vice President responsible for Administrative and Financial Affairs. It includes a selection of distinguished staff in administrative and financial affairs. It is worth noting here that the university — by the grace of Allah and through the soundness of its administrative and financial policy and the directions of His Excellency the University Director, Dr. Baba Sankan Ceesay, may Allah protect him — has seen measurable development in the academic, research, and campus-growth fields. Praise be to Allah before and after for this achievement, and we ask Him — Glory be to Him — for more of His bounty, grace, and generosity.
